Disable e-mail (v12+)

This article applies to the following products:

  • WinWay Resume Deluxe Site/Network Edition version 12 and later

Summary

In some installations, it may be desirable to disable the e-mail feature of WinWay Resume Deluxe. This can be done via a registry setting.

This article specifically applies to WinWay Resume Deluxe 12 and later, when installed with a valid site/network license

To disable the e-mail feature:

  1. Log into the work station as an administrator
  2. Run WinWay Resume Deluxe and select Help, About
  3. Verify that the version number is 12.00.034 or greater.  If not, download and install the Free Update.  If installing on many workstations, you may ask for a complete download of the latest build to eliminate the need for updates.
  4. For version 14, download and run WR14_Disable_Email.reg
  5. For version 12, download and run WR12_Disable_Email.reg

To test:

  1. Start WinWay Resume Deluxe
  2. Select the menu option "File"
  3. The item "Send" will no longer appear on the "File" menu

To restore and enable the e-mail feature:

  1. Log into the work station as an administrator
  2. For version 14, download and run WR14_Enable_Email.reg
  3. For version 12, download and run WR12_Enable_Email.reg
