Errors while Playing
Video
The information in this article applies to:

SUMMARY
Video playback does not work properly or generates errors such as
"MMSYSTEM 289", "MMSYSTEM266", or "Video Not Available, Cannot Find 'vids:iv32'"

Error: "Video Not Available, Cannot Find 'vids:iv32'"
Solution: visit http://www.moviecodec.com/download/codecs.shtml
Download and run "indeo32.exe"
Windows 95, 98, or Me
Most
video error-messages can be solved by removing the Windows video
sub-system and then installing it again. Please
do the following:
- Select
Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove programs
- Select
the second tab - Windows Setup
- Find
the item named "multimedia" and UNCHECK it. This will
remove all multimedia facilities
- Click
OK as many times as necessary
- Reboot
the computer
- Repeat
steps 1 through 3, this time CHECK the item called Multimedia
and everything under it

this does not help, proceed per instructions below.

"Video Not Available, Cannot Find 'vids:iv32'"
