The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARY
The above error message may happen when you run the product as
a Restricted User, and the user does not have the permission to
write to the system registry
CAUSE
Upon startup, the program writes to the system registry to make
sure all entries are updated. This is the same action that is carried
out during installation.
This problem was corrected in the Free Update for WinWay Resume
9.0, and does not occur with WinWay
Resume Deluxe 10 or later.
MORE INFORMATION
- To find which version you have, select Help, About
- If you are using WinWay Resume 6.0, please upgrade to the latest
version
- If you are using WinWay Resume 9.0, please download and install
the Free Update. After
installing the free update select Help, About again to verify
that your version is 9.00.117 or later.
