Vista: OLE 2.0 initialization failed

The information in this article applies to:

• WinWay Resume 11.0 or earlier, under Windows Vista, with certain printer driver(s) such as "Epson Stylus Photo 1280"

SUMMARY

When starting WinWay Resume, you may encounter the message "OLE 2.0 initialization failed. Make sure the OLE libraries are the correct version."

Download and install the free update

Versions 10.0 and earlier

1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound, Printer"
   
   
2. Right-click on "Microsoft XPS Document," and choose "Set as default printer."
   
   
3. Try running WinWay Resume again. If it runs, the problem was caused by the printer driver that was previously selected as a default.
   
   
4. To print from WinWay Resume, select File, Print, and choose the original printer
   
   
5. To restore the original settings, repeat step 1, right click on the desired printer, and choose "Set as default printer."
