Cannot uninstall previous version, upgrade installation fails
The information in this article applies to:
- System currently has WinWay Resume 9.0, 10.0 or 11.0 installed
- Upgrading to WinWay Resume Deluxe 9.0 or later
SUMMARY
During upgrade, the installation program must first remove the previously-installed version.
If the installed version is damaged, installation may not proceed.
MORE INFORMATION
To forcefully remove the currently-installed version from the registry:
- Click on this file
- Select "Open"
- When asked "Are you sure...," choose "YES"
- Expect a notification that information was added, click "OK" to acknowledge
Then proceed to install the new version.
