SUMMARY

While installing from a CD-ROM, you may encounter any of the following errors:

• The CD appears to be empty - contains no files
• "setup.exe not a valid win32 application"
• Setup starts and then stops with an error before installation is completed

CAUSE

The most likely cause is a dirty, scratched or damaged CD.

MORE INFORMATION

1. Inspect the bottom (unprinted) side of the CD-ROM and look for scratches, stains, fingerprints
2. Clean the CD-ROM with a soft cloth. You may also wash it with soap and water, and then dry completely
3. Reboot your computer
4. Try the installation again. If the error persists, continue to the next step
5. If you are installing WinWay Resume Deluxe 9.0, try the Alternate Installation
