Narrowing your
Job Agent search
The information in this article applies to:
- WinWay Resume 6.0 or later
SUMMARY
The Job Agent presents your search parameters - State and Title -
to multiple job databases. Some of the databases are more selective
then others.
MORE INFORMATION
- To narrow your search better, add keywords to your job title.
Instead of a title alone, you can add words that should be in
the job posting. For example, if you are only interested in jobs
in San Francisco, add the words "San Francisco" right
after the title. This will limit the search to jobs that contain
these words
- Note that the search on "Project Manager San Francisco"
will bring jobs that contain the word "Project", and/or
jobs that contain the word "Manager". Some job sources
will limit the results to jobs containing BOTH words. Other job
sources will include jobs that contain EITHER word.
- Since the quality of results may vary from one source to another,
you may want to sort the results by SOURCE. Click on the "Source"
header to do that.
- To sort the results by "Title" or "Location",
click on the respective headers
