This article explains how to obtain a product or product update via download.

MORE INFORMATION

1. You should have received a "Download Address" or "Download Url" for the product or update. The download address starts with "http://" and may be quite long.
   
   For example:
   HTTP://WWW.WINWAY.COM/FIXED/DL110/?I=WW-50544-2814-4529&S=0
   
   
2. If the download address has an underline under it, simply click on it to start the download, and continue to step 3.
   
   If there is no underline, select the whole download address with your cursor, right click and select "COPY". This will copy the download address to your computer's clipboard.
   
   
   
   Now start your web browser - preferably Internet Explorer - and PASTE the download address into the address area of the browser as shown below. Then hit the Enter key or click on "Go".
   
   
   
3. The browser will bring up a new window asking whether you wish to "OPEN" the file or "SAVE" it.
   
   Click on "SAVE"
   
   
4. The browser will bring up a new window, asking you where you want to save the file.
   
   
   
   
5. Write down the Folder Name and File Name as shown. You can also change the folder and file name, but do not change the file EXTENSION, typically ".exe". It must keep the same extension as shown. So, you could change the File Name to "c:\mydownload.exe" if you wish. Click SAVE to start the download.
   
   
6. You will see the download progress bar
   
   
   
7. When download is complete, you will see this:
   
   Click on "Open" to start the installation.
   
   
8. If you encounter an error during the installation, you can try and start the installation again.
   Select Start, Run, and enter the file folder and path you noted in step 5.
   
   Then click "OK".
   
   
9. It is possible that the file was damaged during download. You may get error messages such as
   "Contents can not be unpacked. Executable is corrupt, obtain another copy of file". If this happens, please go back to step 1 and download again.

If you received a message "An error has occurred. The file you are requesting is not available", most likely the download address you are using is incorrect. Check the download address and try again.
